The Acknowledgments page is optional and can be deleted if you decide not to use it.
This is the place in your document where you may either thank all of the important people in your life who helped you achieve your current success, or other persons you deem as important to your work. It can also be as short or long as you like.
Template users: It is best to wait until you have completely finalized your document before deleting this page, unless you are absolutely positive that you will not use it.
A pre-formatted Acknowledgments page already exists in the university template. Just click on the orange text, and start typing.
DELETING THE ACKNOWLEDGMENTS PAGE
If you decide that you do not want to include an Acknowledgments page, it is easy to delete:
Click on the SHSU tab.
Click on Navigation Pane. The Nav Pane will open on the the left-hand side of the page.
Right-click on the item you wish to delete from the Nav Pane.
Select Delete. This should remove that page from your document.
Click on Update All to update your Table of Contents.
