Statistical Information for the Social Sciences

Many resources exist that contain discipline specific statistical information.  The resources listed on these pages are among the most general for the social sciences. 

This guide is not comprehensive; it does not list all of the resources related to statistical information for the social sciences owned by the Library or available on the Internet. This guide serves merely as a starting point for research.

Most current in Reference.  Older editions in the MAIN collection on the 4th floor.
Contains statistics about many aspects of the United States.

World Almanac and Book of Facts

Contains statistical and descriptive information about various aspects of the world.
